Pungent, definitely strong tobacco. The taste gets some getting used to. These last a while and the taste seems subtler than General G.3. The portion wrapping is thicker and that must be why these release slower, whereas the G3 is more porous. It has a pungent earthy taste to it that releases slower than the G.3. I enjoyed both.
